  • Masten District Virtual Livability Meeting

    Masten District Virtual Livability Meeting

    4:30 pm-6:00 pm
    August 11, 2020

LISC (Local Initiatives Support Corporation) is launching a Livability & Neighborhood Business program centered on issues of health and social justice.

The goal of these conversations is to focus on learning more about how we can be responsive to the effects of the pandemic in our communities and what specific projects the community would like to see happen in the recovery phase. We will work with neighborhood groups to develop a list of catalytic projects that can be prioritized when relief or stimulus funding is made available. LISC WNY plans to support the implementation of those ideas this summer.
This is the first of many conversations and in-depth action oriented engagement process in which we plan to learn neighborhood goals now and for the future. We want to know how we can best prepare to get the resources needed to these neighborhoods.
LISC WNY is a collective impact organization that works with nonprofit groups, business districts, anchor institutions, and resident groups to align priorities so that districts are positioned to access future investment.
